AffiliStores Review – Is AffiliStores A Scam Or Legit?

Uncategorized / Wednesday, March 13th, 2019

You have probably come across Affilistores recently, haven’t you? Is Affilistores a scam or is it a legit program/software that will give you a head-start to making the big online income? Is it worth it or is it complete garbage?

Well, if you’re asking yourself these questions, it’s good that you stumbled across my Affilistores review because I will be answering all those questions for you. It’s great that you’re doing your research because there are really too many scams on the internet and being cautious about seemingly “good” programs is a must.

Be sure to read this review until the end because I found out some pretty shocking things about this program. These are things that none of the other reviews will tell you because they are too busy pitching it up to you so they can make a commission when you buy.

Just a note; I’m NOT promoting this program so this review is going to be completely honest and unbiased.

Let’s get the party started!

Do I Recommend it?: NO!

What Is AffiliStores?

AffiliStores is a cloud-based software that is supposed to help you to create eCom stores with 1 Click, while using an affiliate marketing model to make money. Instead of having to buy inventory and take care of packing, shipping and customer service, you direct your customers to where they can buy the product, through your special link.

The places that your customers will be sent to are reputable online giants, like Amazon, eBay and Aliexpress, so you’ll never run out of products to add to your store.

The sales page tells you that you will be able to create stores within 60 seconds. Even as a newbie, you’ll be able to make passive income that will not require you to invest in ads. The website will generate it’s own traffic, 100% free. Additionally, you won’t need a website because they’ll host your store for you.

All this sounds wonderful and to be honest, if I were a newbie who didn’t know anything about making money online, I would probably have bought into this program without a second thought. But knowing what I know about these kinds of programs, I’m a little skeptical.

You see, I come across a lot of programs on a daily basis that promise to help you in various ways, to make your job easier, to show you shortcuts in order to maximize the amount of money that you can make. They even boast having the best training, but in the end, they don’t really give you all that you need to succeed.

Affiliate marketing is legit way of making money online. I know because I am an affiliate marketer who makes passive income online. But I can tell you that taking shortcuts when you don’t know how the online world works can be very dangerous for your online business.

If it was so easy to make money online using this software, then don’t you think everybody would have been doing it? Why would anybody be slaving away at their 9-5 when they could sit at home, create a store within 60 seconds and make money within 24 hours?

Let’s take a look inside and you will understand!

Inside The Software

My first impression of the dashboard is that it is very neat and tidy, and easy to navigate. The sales page wasn’t lying when they told you that all you needed to do to create your store, is to click around and make a selection. There is no coding required.

The process does like this; you start with the name of the store, you choose a theme, a colour combination for the background and a logo. Then, you get to have fun with adding your products from the different affiliate networks. The part that I found nice was that you could also have them be added on automation on a daily basis.

Afterwards, you get to add some features to increase conversions; such as an exit popup that will urge your customer to remain on the page when they try to leave, social proof which means showing your visitors other people that are purchasing and what they purchased, as well as to link your visitors to your Facebook Page where they can message you.

All of these, I have to say are very effective ways to keep your customer on your website and increases the chances of a purchase being made.

Then, you get to the traffic part of the software that will be utilizing SEO (search engine optimization) in order to pull in free visitors. SEO is a way of getting traffic from the search engines, like Google, Bing and Yahoo. In order to do that you need blog posts on your website.

Now,
to do this, you have several options; you can either create and type
up your blog posts directly within the provided editor, or you can
also pull in content from other sources on the internet on automation, meaning that you will have the ability to use other people’s content on your own website.

Another
thing that you could do if you already have a blog, is to pull in
your own content from your existing blog using RSS Feeds. That’s more for experienced marketers.

But to be honest with you, this is the catch here because newbies will mostly opt to have content pulled in from other sources and what they don’t know is that duplicate content will NOT rank within the search results. The search engines want UNIQUE content and your website will suffer consequently.

That means, no free traffic! No traffic means no money!

In the last section, you get the training videos on how to use the software. They’re short and straight forward, which is good. I was hoping that there would be some good training on SEO and bloggin there, but I was disappointed. You get no SEO training at all whatsoever!

What’s the use of trying to get ranked when you don’t KNOW how to blog and can’t use other people’s content?

Some Things To Consider

Now that you know the features and how AffiliStores can help you, I have to bring a few negative points about the program. These should be considered if you are seriously thinking of getting it because it could mean the difference between success and failure, specially if you’re a newbie.

1) Duplicate content

That’s one thing that we’ve already talked about but I want to emphasize the importance of having UNIQUE content on your website to get ranked. Google, Bing and Yahoo HATE duplicate content and will NOT rank your website. If these blogs don’t get ranked, there will be no visitors on your website.

And no visitors means no money!

2) Inadequate training for newbies

The first thing that the training is missing, is training on how to choose a niche. Without knowing your niche, you won’t know what products to list on your website. You won’t know what category to look for and you won’t know your profit margins.

The training also does not go over keyword research or anything about SEO for that matter. For a program that boasts to be newbie-friendly, it’s a big flop. The other options you choose, other than to write your own content, will land you in trouble and you won’t get ranked at all.

So what’s a newbie supposed to do if they don’t know the proper ways of blogging and there’s no training for it within the program?

Additionally, there’s no training on how to apply with different affiliate networks to get compensated for their programs. Though it’s easy, you might not necessarily know how to as a newbie. Different networks have different requirements and a very common one is the website you plan on putting affiliate links on.

I have a strong feeling that those kinds of affiliate networks actually won’t accept you.

3) Paid Ads

Without any way to get the free SEO traffic, you will have to resort to posting on social media regularly and working to build your reputation on Facebook, which is really hard. On the other hand, if you don’t want to work hard and wait for months for your first sale, you’ll have to resort to paid traffic.

With paid traffic, as was mentioned within the sales video, you’ll need at least $750 every single month in order to make a few thousands of dollars back. If you’re a newbie, expect to spend more because you’ll need to experiment with different campaigns to see what works best.

There’s also no training on that at all, so be careful! As a newbie, it’s very easy to burn through all your money.

4) Upsells

What would be a program such as this without it’s upsells?

To be honest with you, I hate upsells! Some programs can have very valuable upsells that can really help you scale up your business, but within most programs, upsells will only serve as making the creator of the program more money. For whichever reason these upsells were included, I’m disgusted by the fact that they are not disclosed on the sales page.

These upsells can go as high as $297 per upsell. I just thought you should know about them before jumping in with both feet.

5) Hard to get APIs

If you have been online for a while, then you probably know what they are and yes, you do need them in order to make the stores work, else getting this program is useless.

If you don’t know what they are, then just understand that an API is a piece of information that you need to get from each affiliate network in order to make your store work. For newbies, it can be quite difficult to get approved to promote the products within an affliate program, let alone being able to get an API key.

6) Sub-domain

A domain is the web address, like “google.com”. A sub domain is something like “maps.google.com”. So as you can see, it’s a borrowed address, much like renting a house. So instead of your address being “yourstore.com”, it will be “yourstore.affilistores.com”.

That’s what’s called a sub-domain. You don’t own it. You’re not even given the chance to purchase and host your own domain. The problem with that is that people coming to your store might not actually trust it because you have a sub-domain.

Additionally, should the owners of AffiliStores one day decide to close down AffiliStores, then your hard work would all have gone down the drain. You’ll lose the tools, your stores, your blogs and anything else that you might have invested into the program because nothing is really yours.

With your own domain, you would have been able to move it to another host and nothing would have been lost.

Oh and one more thing… Sub-domains don’t rank well within the search engines, compared to all the other .coms that you will be competing against. So again, you’ll have trouble geting traffic.

Is AffiliStores A Scam?

Honestly, I do not believe AffiliStores to be a scam. It’s a pretty good concept and I have to admit that there are some useful tools that will definitely make a marketer’s like easier. It can’t be a scam also because there is a money back guarantee. Should you not be satisfied, you can request a refund and get your money back.

However, it does not mean that I recommend the program. I don’t think it’s as good as it has been advertised on the sales page. There isn’t enought training for the newbie and as a result, you’ll end up using Ads anyways. They also promote some pretty bad SEO practices that will hurt your blog, like duplicate content.

They also have a ton of upsells that you were never told about on the sales page. I always get enraged by them because the main product should be enough to do what the sales page promises.

You also have the case of the APIs, without which, getting AffiliStores is useless. In my opinion, only a marketer with existing access to some of those affiliate networks will be able to make this program work to their advantage, having acess to get an API.

But then, I don’t think an experienced marketer would have a need for a sub-domain because they understand the risk of not owning the domain. And they also know that sub-domains will require double or triple the amount of work compared to a purchased and registered domain. So they won’t have a use for AffiliStores.

Like me!

That’s why I don’t think that the program is good for either newbies or experienced marketers. I don’t recommend AffiliStores.

Newbies! Make Passive Online Income Like Me!

Like I mentioned earlier, I am an affiliate marketer and I make a passive online income. The reason that this has been possible for me is that I followed a tried and true, proven training, that taught me everything that I now know about making money online.

I blog on my website everyday and use only unique content. I make sure to do my keyword research and to input the keyword within my article for SEO and I also make sure to include my affiliate link. All this takes me 2 – 3 hours daily. Then, I’m free the rest of the day.

Google sends me free visitors and these visitors are directed through my link to the website where they can purchase what they need. Each time a sale is made that way, I make money. And articles like these are going to bring me money for years down the road.
