If you’re looking for an honest Commission Wave review, not one that is going to do its best to pitch the program up to you, but give you all the details you need to make an informed decision, then you’re on the right review.
You already know that there are way too many scams and low-quality products on the internet nowadays, so it’s hard to know which one is actually going to deliver and which one is legit. So pat yourself on the back for doing your due diligence because that’s the only way to know whether a program is the right one for you or not.
There are some pretty bold claims made on the sales page of Commission Wave but how much of that is actually true? How does the program work? What will you be learning? Will you really be raking in those $3K paydays, just like Rob, th creator of the program?
If you have those questions, then stick around and I’ll be answering them all for you. I’ll also be giving you my opinion on whether this is something that you should be buying to up your game or start in the online world.
Without further ado, let’s get this review started!
Commission Wave At A Glance
Owner: Rob Reece
Purpose: Make money doing affiliate marketing
Do I Recommend It?: Not really!
What Is Commission Wave?
As per the sales page, Commission Wave is said to be a newbie-friendly method that will get you earning over $100 from the first day that you start with the method. No need to know anything technical and no need for any experience to make ths method work.
The best thing is that it tells you right from the start that you’re not going to need to budget to pay for traffic because the traffic method here is going to be entirely free. It’s amazing to be able to possibly make $3K per day with free traffic, isn’t it?
Rob tells you that there is no risk to this method and that you can get set up in as little as an hour. There are only three steps to making this work and they are:
1) Get set up
2) Tap into the traffic source
3) Profit! (from $100 – $2500)
4) Rinse and repeat (optional)
And if I were a newbie, I would definitely have fallen for those claims. My rule of thumb is that if it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is. That’s where you have to be careful. I have seen similar claims on every single sales page of products that I have reviewed and unfortunately, none really worked the way they were advertised.
There’s more work involved to start making $3K a day, believe me! If it were as easy as Rob depicted, then everybody would have been rich and nobody would still be complaining about their work and their bosses. Nobody would still be grinding away at their 9-5 jobs, right?
What’s Inside Commission Wave?
Once I got into the member’s area, I was actually impressed. There are 17 training videos, with 1 video introduction and another one concluding the course. If you’ve read any of my other reviews, you would know that I just love video training. They’re just easier to understand, right?
There seems to be more material that there really is though. Rob will teach you how to do affiliate marketing, which promoting other people’s products to make commissions from each sale that is generated. I’m an affiliate marketer too so I can tell you that what he will teach you will be completely legit.
He will teach you to pick out an offer from WarriorPlus, how to get approved, how to get your affiliate link (a link hard-coded to you), how to create a free WordPress website, how to promote your offers using FB Live and how to build an email list.
When you look at it from this point of view, you feel like there’s a ton of training and that you could really become successful, right? Although you can get a few pointers here and there, there just isn’t enough training for you to make your $100+ days, let alone $3K days.
What I’m disappointed about as well, is that Rob introduced building your website but doesn’t really go into detail about SEO and how to get your review posts ranked in the search engines like Google, Bing and Yahoo. That’s more free traffic right there that you can leverage.
He focuses more on how to promote your offers through FB posts and going live, which aren’t bad marketing strategies if used properly. However, you will first need to start building a social following on FB before you can really start making money. You’ll need to post several times a day and even do a FB Live video everyday for that to happen.
People won’t trust you at first either. You need to KNOW what you’re talking about. Rob was able to bring in his $3K day because he already has a following. You will need to start from scratch so don’t expect to be making $3K as easily as he did.
Does The Program Work As Advertised?
In my opinion, the program does not work as advertised.
You are told that it’s going to be newbie-friendly, but I find that although that’s a lot of information for $5, still not everything is covered as it should be.
Yes, it’s all using free traffic which is a promise kept, but always remember that with free traffic, it will take you longer to see results, which won’t make you $100 within your first 24 hours, especially not if you’re a newbie with zero following on Facebook.
Things might be different is you are an intermediate to advanced marketer and you could pick up a few useful things from Rob within the training, but again, if you’re already using the search engines or even Youtube to get to your audience, then I doubt using Facebook will really help.
The sales page makes it look like there won’t be lot of work involved and that you’ll easily be able to make money online but that’s not the case. There’s a ton work involved in social media marketing, more so that other types of marketing. In my opinion, if you want to do videos, it’s just best to stick to Youtube as that traffic converts better.
Another fact to consider is that they never tell you that you’ll need to invest even more in order to run the business, from month to month. In order to build an email list properly, you need to invest in a page builder that will create capture pages and you’ll also need an autoresponder, which could cost you $40+ every single month.
So don’t think that because the traffic is going to be free that you won’t have to pay for anything else because that’s absolutely not true.
1) Learn from a real person, not from an anonymous person
2) Affordable at $4.95
3) Teaches you legit way of making money online which is affiliate marketing
4) Video Training available
5) You can make some money using this method
6) 30 Day money back guarantee
1) Hyped up sales page
2) Shallow training, in my opinion
3) Not as newbie-friendly
4) It takes a while to build a following on FB so you can’t make $100 within 24 hours as stated on the sales page
5) Hidden costs to consider
6) FB does not convert as well as he wants to make you believe
Is Commission Wave A Scam?
In all fairness, I do not think that Commission Wave is a scam. I actually think that there are some good points to take away from the training, especially if you want to learn more about Facebook marketing. However, I just don’t think that it is a good starting point newbies.
The sales page is hyped up and it’s because of these kinds of sales pages that newbies believe that making money online is going to be easy. It’s because of these sales pages that newbies think there isn’t a lot of work involved in making money online. It’s creates a big misconception and does not provide accurate expectations.
I don’t like the fact that although it looks like there’s a lot of things that are covered in the training, that the training is incomplete. Additionally, it will take a while before any newbies sees their $100 days, let alone their $3000 days from this method.
Actually, I’m closer to think that the $3000 days are near impossible with social media nowadays, especially with the introduction of paid adverts and the rising competition. In my opinion, you may better off using Youtube or SEO to get free traffic. The traffic there will definitely convert better.
There are also hidden costs to consider that are not disclosed on the sales page. I think that is important to disclose because what’s the use of getting the training then if you can only invest $20 every month? It’s obvious that this training will not work, right?
Like I said, there are some good pointers inside the training and to be honest, $5 is not a whole lot to pay for it, but overall, Commission Wave is not a program that I would recommend.
