Welcome to my RefreshEn Review.
You’re probably on my review today because you wanted to know whether this program is a scam or legit, right?. Are you wondering whether it works? Are you hoping that this program is going to finally be the breakthrough to making your first dollar online? Are you banking on this program being the one to help you quit your job?
Well, all these questions will be answered by the end of this review. I’ll tell you exactly what I found out about this program and let me tell you that what you’re going to read might be a little bit of a shock.
Just know that I do NOT promote this program, so unlike those other affiliates of the program who want to pitch this up to you so they can make money, I’m going to be completely honest with you and tell you what you can expect with this program, if anything, so you can make an informed decision.
Without further ado, let’s get the party started!
RefreshEn At A Glance
Owners: Jason Fulton/Mosh Bari
Purpose: Make money with Adsense on a niche site
Do I Recommend It?: No…
What Is RefreshEn?
Jason and Mosh present this opportunity as one that will be able to make you a passive income from working online. They boast for this to be a new method that you have never seen before and that is so newbie-friendly that anybody can get set-up within 45 minutes.
This method is not around affiliate marketing and it only uses free traffic, but it supposedly has the portential to get you earning between $500 and $2000 per month in passive income online. They claim that each time you click on the refresh button, that you’ll see your traffic and your money grow, thus the name RefreshEn.
To be honest, I have my doubts about the ways of the program. They only mentioned a set up of 45 minutes to see the money coming in and never mentioned anything about the time it will take to maintain the business everyday. I have to tell you that there isn’t a business that runs on autopilot.
Additionally, there’s always more work involved than these gurus are willing to disclose, especially for a newbie. You need enough time to learn and to apply what you learn. Passive income is possible online but it won’t happen any time soon. I’m happy that they didn’t give a time frame, but they make it sound instant.
By saying that Mosh has hit the Refresh button many times and that he saw the traffic and money increase, it makes it sound like this program will work at the push of a button, when push-button systems do not exist. Even if you are able to make passive income with the system, it would be as a result of working consistently for some time.
The Training – Is It Any Good?
Inside the member’s area, you’ll get access to 14 videos. However, there’s an introduction video, an overview video, a case stufy, a couple of promotional videos and a summary video. So for core training, you’ll actually only have 7.
What you’ll learn here is to create a website and drive traffic to it using Pinterest. On that website, you’ll connect it to Google Adsense and allow Google to post ads on you website, so that views and clicks on them will generate revenue for you. And to be honest with you, this method is nothing new.
It’s good to use Adsense in a way because your visitors don’t have to buy what you recommend for you to make money, unlike affiliate marketing.
You’ll learn how to choose a niche, how to create a website around it and how to add content to it. He also introduces one of his other programs to you, that will supposedly pull content from other websites and blogs related to your niche. That way, you won’t have to create your own content.
Then, he will teach you to create your pins and to make them attractive in order to get the most shares and clicks to your website. By having more clicks and shares, the chances of your visitors seeing your website and clicking on your ads will increase, thus making you more money.
If you don’t want to get the content, there’s still some training on how to write your own, which then would mean that you will not be able to set up the website within 45 minutes. It would mean that you’ll need to write content on a regular basis in order to be able to create more pins on Pinterest.
This method can absolutely work but only if you get proper training. In my opnion, there are a few things missing in the training where as a newbie, you’ll become confused. One example in the training is that it does not tell you where to get your domain name registered and neither does it show you where to get it hosted.
These are small things but they need to be spelled out as it can seem confusing when it’s your first time. Unfortunately, there are a few instances where I feel like the newbie is going to be stuck. Additionally, it’s not as easy to get help as their Facebook group is not as active.
The Truth About This Method
Although the training has it’s good points, there are a few things that you should take into consideration before taking the plunge and getting this program. These are things that you are NOT told on the sales page or by any other marketer that is pitching up this program.
1) Duplicate Content – Like I mentioned earlier, there is a tool that is recommended that you buy in so you won’t have to write your own content. This tool will pull content from other places on the internet and put it on your website. However, Mosh does not specify whether credit will be given to the original author/blog.
If credit is not given, this poses a problem because you could potentially get sued.
Additionally, using duplicate content will mean that you won’t ever have the chance of getting ranked in the search results of Google, Bing and Yahoo because these search engines don’t like it. So, not getting ranked in the search engines will actually strip you of another chance to get free traffic.
Thus, you’ll be putting all your eggs in one basket with only using Pinterest.
2) Costs – In order to make this kind of business work, you need to consider the cost of a domain name registration, web hosting, the cost of the tool that Mosh recommends for pulling content, as well as all the upsells that are recommended within.
However, if you scour the sales page, you will NOT find any indication of what the expected cost of running this kind of business is. You’re led to believe that the only cost is the $13 that you have to pay for the training and although he does mention that there are upsells within the platform, the cost of the required tools are never mentioned.
Of course, we have to spend money to make money but I think that the sales page is a little misleading, where they make you believe that you’ll get all you need to run the business as long as you pay the $13. That’s not true, as you know now and I for one, would ahve loved a heads-up.
3) Time-frame To Passive Income – That’s also something that we’re not told about, right? Not on the sales page and not even within the training.
Well, let me tell you that the method that you’re being taught here will take some time to earn you the $500 that you are shown and almost promised on the sales page. Google Adsense does not pay that much for views and clicks.
You see, you only get paid $1 – $3 per 1000 views and most times less than $1 per click. It really depends on the amount that advertisers are willing to pay for a view or for a click, which is not much, to be honest. So Google takes it’s share and leaves you the rest, which as you can see, is even less.
So if you do the math, you’ll need a TON of visitors to make you $500 in passive income per month and that kind of audience is not easy to get. You need a LOT of pins created and pinned onto Pinterest on a consistent basis in order to get enough views and clicks to start making $500 per month in passive income from Adsense.
Hmm… I didn’t find anything in the training or the program and refreshing your browser to make more money.
Is RefreshEn A Scam?
No, I do not think that RefreshEn is a scam. I do think that you can learn quite a few things here about driving traffic to your own blog using Pinterest. Any how, if you’re not satisfied with that either, you are most welcome to also request a refund and get your money back.
However, I really do not appreciate that much is misleading or undisclosed on the sales page. Mosh and Jason say that you will only need 45 minutes of set up time, but that’s only if you decide to buy the tool suggested to pull content. But also remember the negative effects of the tool.
You could be sued for copyright infringement if ever credits are not given to the appropriate authors.
There are also undisclosed REQUIRED costs that you should have been told about BEFORE getting the training, What’s the point of getting the training to then find out that you will be unable to continue because you can’t get the tools required to make the business work?
Any sound business decision, even online business, needs to be done with ALL pieces of the puzzle in front of you. Else, you’re not really making an informed decision, are you?
Furthermore, while I found that the training is somewhat good and the method works, there’s a lot of little snippets of information that is missing within the training that you might become confused over, as a newbie. It can leave you not knowing how to move forward and even the support is inadequate to help you.
My thoughts on RefreshEn, is that I would not use a big portion of the training myself, though I do think that the portion of the training on Pinterest is worth the price. But I do not recommend it for newbies, as you would be unlikely to succeed.
A Better Alternative To RefreshEn – How I Make Passive Online Income
I have to say that I’m not a guru. I’m a nobody and yet, I’m still able to make passive online income. I will tell you exactly how I do it and how you can get started too.
What I do is something called affiliate marketing. I help others with their problems and offer a solution. The solution can be a paid service or a tangible item. A sale made through a special link I direct my customers to, makes me a commission. Don’t underestimate it, because it’s VERY lucrative!
The way that I get to help others is through writing content on my website, very much like how RefreshEn shows you but I make use of the search engines to get free traffic mostly. It literally only takes me 2 – 3 hours per day to write one up and I’m free for the rest of the day.
There is some work required and it is absolutely not a get-rich-quick scheme, as with anything that is legit. But the best part is that you can get started for FREE with the training that I will introduce you to! No payment or credit card required!
You’ll get access to training, tools and support 24/7 to make sure that you succeed. Oh and you’ll also get direct access to me. What’s better than to be able to ask questions to somebody who has been through the training and who has seen success with it, right?
Just a disclaimer here that there is also a paid version to the training. However, you will never be forced to upgrade if you don’t want to because the free account is forever. Use it as long as you want to… or not! So even if you think the program is not for you, just walk away and you wouldn’t have lost anything.
So sign up now and I’ll get in touch with you inside!
Anyways, thanks for reading this review today and for giving me a chance to educate you about RefreshEn. Feel free to ask any questions you might have about the program, or about making money online in general, below. I would love to help you. 🙂
